Strategic Mission Partners

  • Topeka Rescue Mission
    • White Gift Sunday: One Sunday each December, our members bring gifts to church for those served by the Topeka Rescue Mission. From tube socks and toiletries to toys and small appliances, needs of all kinds are met by these offerings. The gifts are wrapped in white, to show that they are valued equally and given to glorify God. Other gifts presented on this day include warm quilts, handmade by our quilters group throughout the year. The gifts are brought to the altar and presented to a representative of the mission.
    • Serving a meal each month. Check our First Responders page for our current schedule.
  • Doorstep and Dovetail
    • We regularly partner with Doorstep to fill their food pantry and clothing store, as well as providing volunteers for their Christmas store each year. Check with us for other ways we are supporting Doorstep throughout the year.
  • Let’s Help
    • We hold several clothing and food drives to help Let’s Help meet the needs of our community throughout the year.
  • Topeka North Outreach
    • Operation Backpack: Many children leave school on Fridays knowing they will have little food to sustain them over the weekend. That’s why we support Operation Backpack, a TNO program, which fills sacks with food for 550 children to take home with them each weekend during the school year and even over the summer. They also provide school supplies at the beginning of the school year.
    • We partner with TNO for many other projects. Check with us throughout the year to see how you can help!
  • Harvesters
  • State Street Elementary
    • Our church members support the children and staff and State Street Elementary in a variety of ways, like working directly with the students, partnering with teachers for prayer and moral support, and providing labor for large school beatification projects.
