February 8 Youth News Update

It’s time for YOUTH SUNDAY!
Sunday, February 12th
All three Worship Services, 8:15, 9:30 and 11 a.m. will be in the Sanctuary. Our youth have been working very hard to make all three services a special experience for everyone. We hope you can attend.

News:

Youth Souper bowl sales and donations brought in $1,713. Thank you to all who bought soup and donated towards the Youth Summer Mission Trip. A big thank you goes to our adult volunteers who helped make sure we had a variety of soup out at all times, washed everyone’s crockpots, and helped with clean up duty: Mike and Dori Murphy, Mark Smith, Bruce Woner and Pat Reeder. A special thanks to Michael Turner who made two large cookers of fresh mac-n-cheese to sell and for the youth to have for lunch. Thanks to the parents of youth for getting a variety of soups to the Celebration Room before 9 a.m. on Sunday. There were about 20 crockpots of soup of all different varieties.

There was no downtime for youth last Sunday. Even though they were selling soup, they also had several Youth Sunday jobs going on and had to get college care packages ready to ship. College students should receive the packages by week’s end.
