Sunday Morning Worship

We invite you to join us for worship this Sunday morning! We are located at the corner of Topeka Blvd and 6th Street—for your convenience we encourage you to use our Topeka Blvd parking lot and entrance.

Come however you feel most comfortable–you’ll meet people at all three of our worship services dressed in everything from jeans and a T-shirt to a suit and tie. We offer complementary donuts, coffee and juice in our Celebration Room (main entrance of the church) from 9:00 – 9:30 and 10:30 – 11:00 a.m.

Your children are welcome in all of our worship services. Activity bags are available at each of our worship spaces. We do, however, provide an excellent nursery staffed by trained and Safe and Sacred certified attendants during all services. Nursery care is available for children birth through Kindergarten. We encourage children to attend our exciting Sunday School hour at 9:30. Children in PreK to 6th grade meet upstairs in our colorful children’s ministry area, and children ages 2-3 meet in our Jacob’s Well classroom next to the nursery on the first floor.

We celebrate communion once a month. We practice open communion, meaning that all persons regardless of church membership or age are welcome and encouraged to receive this sacrament.

We offer three distinct style of worship each Sunday morning.

Arise, 8:15 a.m. Our Arise Service has the feel of a small church in the midst of the big city. The atmosphere is relaxed, the setting is informal, and the place is our Klasse Chapel.

9-3-0, 9:30 a.m. Our 9-3-0 service features contemporary music in a casual atmosphere. Communion is served every Sunday and all are welcomed to partake. This service takes place in the Klasse Chapel.

Sanctuary, 11:00 a.m. Sacred tradition, living faith: These two phrases capture the essence of our Sanctuary Service. Beautiful architecture draws you into the presence of God, stained glass windows envelope you in the warmth of God’s love and the music of our choirs will lift your soul heavenward. This service is more a bit more formal and liturgical in nature than our other worship services.
